There is something in Ananda’s teaching of Iyengar yoga that touches me deeply. She makes a powerful distinction to honor all parts of my body, as I do my asana practice. The idea of breathing into all parts of my body with compassion and empathy is a powerful new paradigm in my yoga practice. What really tickles me pink is the way Ananda articulates each posture; the way she breaks them down really resonates. In my experience, some yoga teachers talk too much, some too little, some go into too much detail (for me), some not enough, some talk too loudly, and some too softly. Ananda has exactly the right ingredients in her recipe of communication. Cool, huh."
